The next shackle for eCommerce

http://vietnamnews.vnagency.com.vn/2003-03/07/Columns/Legal%20Bulletin.htm

E-commerce needs real assistance

The General Department of Taxation has advised that the cost of importing
software through the Internet for business purposes will only be included
in reasonable expenses for corporate income tax if sufficient documents and
invoices are provided, including a contract and valid expense documents.

Official Letter 633/TCT/NV6 (February 19, 2003)

----------
In clear text: Add 32% to all cost of downloaded SW, since you will have to
pay for them from your profit. They will not be accepted as business
expenses. Where should you get a contract from?

Yes, we need even more "eCommerce laws" like that one ... :((
