http://blog.ngowiki.net/?p=67 Dealing with PDFs PDF is ubiquitous, you see it everywhere, but it's often big and I've met many people who don't know how to handle that file format, so while I was looking for redistributable software to accompany some documentation CDs (that contain a lot of those PDFs ), I found this PDF reader which is very fast. Why replace Acrobat Reader on your MS-Windows computer ? Because Acrobat Reader takes forever to open and it's cluttered with fonctions you don't use. Try this Free and Open Source one instead : http://blog.kowalczyk.info/software/sumatrapdf/ And now for the Internet PDF junkies, downloading and choosing what to do with a PDF have never been so easy, with the “PDF download” firefox extension, choose if you want to view, download the pdf or convert it to HTML (so you can copy paste it ;-) ) https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/636/ It works only in the Firefox Browser, in Linux, MAC OS and MS-windows
