Currently Recommended Linux Distro for Vietnam?

Dear "VN Geeks",

I want to install for my daughter a Linux distro, but have no overview
about the current situation in VN.

It should be:

- easy to use (she knows already Windows)
- not too difficult to install
- VN GUI would be nice, though not absolutely required
- known in Vietnam
(so no "special / not-reusable" knowledge to use and install required)
- easily available (Internet Download, or CD-ROM in VN)

What distro would you recommend?

And what UI? (KDE? Gnome?)

As you see, I am fairly out of the current picture.
Any tip would be appreciated.

Cheers,
Stefan
