The agreement on the General Project of Vietnam Open Source Application and Development was signed in Hanoi by Intel representatives and Vietnam’s Ministry of Science and Technology. According to Intel Vietnam Chief Than Trong Phuc, the term of the deal is two years, but can be extended if the partners find more common interests. Intel, however, has not revealed any detailed plan concerning the roadmap and investment for the project. The chip maker will announce specific plans in three months, Mr. Phuc said.
