The People's Aid Coordinating Commitee is looking for a Vietnamese
national in Ha Noi for a permanent position as IT ressource. This person
will work with the ICT working group team to developp the server
applications and network in the PACCOM's new information infrastructure.
It will be ask to involve in the developpement of the ITC working group
and the IT service base of PACCOM.

Responsibilities and Duties:

* Work with ICT working group, user departments and consultants to build
and install computer/server-based processing systems (software)
* Work with ICT working group, user departments and consultants to
expand the network capacity and security
* Implement changes and enhancements to existing systems.
* Search for technological solutions
* Write functionnal and organic analysis
* Pursue self-education/development to enhance skills and abilities.
* Support acquisition, installation and modification of purchased
application systems and services of subcontractors
* Code, test and install new systems.
* Self-confidence, good work ethic and will to develop the IT service of
PACCOM and also will to involve in open-source community
* Provide training and documentation to the PACCOM'S staff
* Other tasks that will be assigned as needed

Qualifications:

* University degree in computer science
* Working knowledge of LAMP (Linux Apache MySQL PHP, Perl, Python)
technologies is mandatory
* Working knowledge of networking in linux, samba, windows environnement
is mandatory
* Web application developpement is mandatory
* Knowledge of linux desktop is a plus
* Capacity to write, vulgarize and communicate effectively
* Ability to solve or suggest solutions for technical problems independently
* Good understanding of IT Controls and IT Change Management Process
* Must be able to work in a team and have a pleasant and open attitude
in a high tech, friendly and not rigid environnement.
* Must possess good analytical skills
* Ability to express its ideas and take initiatives.
* Effective problem solving skills
* Good application design and coding skills
* English language skill is essential
* Self-confidence and a good work ethic.
* Ability to proactively identify tasks that need to be done.
* Multitasking skills.
