It is unfortunate that I do not have any schedule on when this project
can release its first iteration.

It's still pretty much a mess due to administrative work. However, we
are still doing some ground work so that when we have sorted out all
blockages, the project can progress smoothly.

There are several other localization projects going on. You can find an
incomplete list at
http://vnlug.org/wiki/moin.cgi/VietnameseTranslations. Amongst them, I
find KDE, Gnome and Mozilla are the most critical projects. I hope viOOo
will be listed there officially someday.

There are also two Vietnamese LiveCD projects, Knoppix-vi
(http://vnlug.org/wiki/moin.cgi/knoppix-vi) and vnlinuxCD
(http://i18n.vnlinux.org).

They are all good signs to Vietnamese OSS communities.

Cheers.
