Open Tourist Promotion Material

Dear All,

do you know of open-licensed material that can be freely used for tour
agencies etc. to promote tourism? It would be needed to produce brochures,
websites, etc.

Example:
- Maps
- Pictures
- History information
- Cultural information
- Climate Information
- ...

If Vietnam wants to promote tourism, it would certainly help, if such
material would be available via a website, or via a CD-ROM.

Actually, they could even produce a whole CD-ROM, targeted at tourists of
various countries (i.e. at least in different languages, if not more
specific), and release that CD under an open license, so that tourism
agencies can use them (as they are or modified according to the agency's
requirements) as promotion material.

Does anybody know of such material?
Has connections to VNAT to propose it?
