Dear Sr Carrasco-Muņoz, et al, Though an RHCE is one of the best set of Linux certifications one can get, CompTIA and LPI (Linux Professional Institute) certifications are distro-independent (ie, they're not *only* relevant to RedHat and RedHat-like distros, like Mandrake...). And both CompTIA and LPI certification exam can be written in VietNam. I got my CompTIA Linux+ certification via an exam written in SighGone and had my certificate and Linux+ card mailed to my HO (Home-Office) within 3 weeks. I think most CompTIA exams cost US$100 and all the study materials needed are available free on-line. IBM seems to prefer LPI certifications and provides LPI-preparation tutorials via its DeveloperWorks Linux web pages. best, Andi At 13:47 2003.03.03, you wrote: >Red Hat to offer Linux training and professional certification programs in >Saudi Arabia >http://newsvac.newsforge.com/newsvac/03/03/02/017257.shtml?tid=52 > >-- >Address to post to all list members: oss@isoc-vn.org (NOT: OSS@isoc-vn.org !) > >URL of List Archives: >http://www.isoc-vn.org/cgi-bin/mojo/mojo.cgi?f=archive&l=oss >URL to Subscribe to this list: >http://www.isoc-vn.org/cgi-bin/mojo272/mojo.cgi?f=n&l=oss > >To unsubscribe from: OSS, just follow this link: >http://www.isoc-vn.org/cgi-bin/mojo272/mojo.cgi?f=u&l=oss >Click the link, or copy and paste the address into your browser, >or send a mailto:oss-owner@isoc-vn.org to request manual unsubscription >by the list administrator.
