Dear Andre, At 08:10 21.02.2003 +0000, you wrote: ------------------------- > Dear Stefan, > >Stefan Probst écrivait : > > Dear All, ... just in case you have problems to post to the list ... > >Not to post, but to read: I would prefer to *not* receive the mail as >if it was sent to me personally (To: jean-christophe.andre@auf.org), but >better to the list email address (To: OSS <oss@isoc-vn.org>), if possible. I know what you mean. I had to do some aliasing-tricks (outside of Mojo) to get mail-archive.com to accept the list because of this reason. I have no option to change that behaviour. >There is no confusion on my side, but I can not automatically sort it >like I do with other lists I'm subscribed to... :( ??? I have no problem with automatically sorting here. If you cannot sort for "Reply-To: OSS <oss@isoc-vn.org>", or "any header contains <oss@isoc-vn.org>" then I could hack in again a header "X-Mailing-List: oss@isoc-vn.org", as I did previously already with an older version. >And it seems also a bit confusing for other peoples since they reply to >the list telling "Dear Andre" as if I wrote them personally, which is not >a very good approach to list-communication, IMHO. Depending on the kind of mail, I also write "Dear Andre", like this one, although it goes out to everybody. In this case I think it is relevant to the list, therefore I don't send only to you. BTW, my previous alert regarding case sensitivity was because 1) I needed last time maybe 4 minutes to install the new version, but then spend 4 hours or so with a test mail, until I found out, that the address is case sensitive. 2) I saw in the last days some people unsubscribing and shortly after that subscribing again, or telling somebody else to forward their mail to the list, so I was assuming, that some people might have problems to post to the list. Greetings, Stefan
