I do *not* represent VietLUG and, herein, i'm only attempting to
provide an English summary of the decision of VietLUG's effective
leadership (cc'd). Any formal statement on this matter is subject
to formal approval by VietLUG's effective leadership.

VietLUG's leadership has decided the addition of "GNU" to VietLUG's
name is asking for something not significant to the Vietnamese
Free/Linux/Open-source movement in at this time and that they would
rather live without Mr Stallman's advice or support for VietLUG.

Notably, precedents for this decision have been previously made by
the Pune Linux User Group (PLUG) of India and the Las Vegas LUG
(LVLUG). References:
