I do *not* represent VietLUG and, herein, i'm only attempting to provide an English summary of the decision of VietLUG's effective leadership (cc'd). Any formal statement on this matter is subject to formal approval by VietLUG's effective leadership. VietLUG's leadership has decided the addition of "GNU" to VietLUG's name is asking for something not significant to the Vietnamese Free/Linux/Open-source movement in at this time and that they would rather live without Mr Stallman's advice or support for VietLUG. Notably, precedents for this decision have been previously made by the Pune Linux User Group (PLUG) of India and the Las Vegas LUG (LVLUG).
