Re: Spamming in VN

Hello Hoanh,

we can have a discussion on this, but I prefer not to be it here and
occupying bandwidth. BTW, you will have in Mike Burks a good companion ;)

Sorry, this is how "we-know-it-all" US guys use to think.

I am breathing everyday Vietnamese air, I am drinking everyday Vietnamese
water and am eating Vietnamese rice, since more than 11 years already.

And I mean this not only literally, but also figurative, i.e. I live here
and experience the life.

Especially about privacy and "freedom of speech" there are already
differences between the typical US point of few and the European one. Just
think about the reason for the Nazi-Yahoo case. And if there are
differences between the US and Europe, which are otherwise so similar
cultures, how much more can there be between the US and countries in Asia.
And this does not concern Vietnam alone, but many countries here. Just
think about Singapore.

Finally, there is one more difference: The US thinks, everybody on earth
has to be the same like them. Many other countries are happy, if they just
can be what they are for themselves.

Cheers,
Stefan

PS: Back to spam: this means, that IMHO we should try to separate the
content of the spam mail as far as somehow possible from the form:
unsolicited bulk mail. Whether it is commercial, or political, or
religious, or whatever else, does not matter.
