ELECTRONIC VOUCHERS GET PM’s GO-AHEAD

HCM CITY — Prime Minister Phan Van Khai on Thursday signed Decision No.
44/2002/QD—TTg permitting the use of electronic vouchers to authenticate
business documents with evidence of business accounts and payments by any
service enterprises.

All accounting service organisations, the State Bank of Viet Nam, other
banks, and organisations authorised to make accounts are allowed to use
electronic vouchers in business accounts and payments of capital.

E-vouchers are account vouchers represented by codified electronic data
that remain unchanged through transmissions by computers or storage in
storing devices such as magnetic tapes, magnetic discs, or payment cards. — VNS
