(originally sent on 25.11.2001) +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Dear All, in ISOC-VN, I am interested to achieve consensus as much as possible. This includes broad participation in decisions. My experience from other organizations is however, that non-technical working groups (WGs) work better, if individuals - or small subgroups - are permitted to contribute their own papers, documents, etc. The groups still can comment, ask for clarification, etc. but - as long as the contributed paper is within the frame of the WG - does not need to approve every contribution. I would like therefore to encourage everybody, who has already written a paper on eCommerce in Vietnam, whether short or long, to come forward and send that document, so that we can host it on our website. English, French, Vietnamese,... it doesn't matter. I hope, that we find ways to translate the documents also into other languages. I think, our group consists of members of a wide variety of backgrounds, and if everybody contributes a bit, we can really become a "Centre of Competence" for eCommerce here and make a difference by advising businesses as well as exchanging experiences with relevant Government agencies. So, pls. send, what you have..... Cheers, Stefan
